René Follet

René Follet was no more than 14 years old when he realised his first drawings and only 18 when he began to work on the Spirou and Tintin newspapers. When Duchâteau asked him to illustrate the cover of his book, The Masks of Wax, about the famous Mrs. Tussaud, the story fascinated him so much that he pressed the author to adapt it to comic strips. The result of their collaboration is a series of rare beauty.
