The Cimmerian Volume 1 is an excellent book. It contains two unexpurgated graphic adaptations of the Conan tales: Queen of the Black Coast and Red Nails as well as the Robert E. Howard original texts. For Howard fans and those curious about adaptations, this is a convenient package. Both adaptations are quite enjoyable and allow for a fuller view of Conan’s character and the tales.
