Like any self-respecting sci-fi fan, I had to read the first history of science fiction written (and drawn, obviously...) in comic book format. The approach is somewhat serious and systematic, following a few introductory pages of generalist ramblings about the ubiquity of SF in popular culture today and the sci-fi’s role (which is to inspire future Elon Musks) followed by chronological chapters covering virtually all of civilization's history, from Gilgamesh's epic to Iain M.
