Normally shojo mangas are told from a girl's POV, but ”Doing his best to Confess” is told by Natsuaki-kun, a boy that has fallen hook, line and sinker for a classmate – I loved that we got a boy's POV on being hopeless in love! You wouldn't know though that he's in love if you look at his face, and that's where his problem is – he has a face that doesn't express his feelings and therefore is very hard to read.
