Yet another tension-filled volume, although it’s a different type of suspense to what I was used to during the Skall story arc. Now that the immediate danger is over (is it?) Eiji tries to uncover his alter ego’s plans, so he goes to the mental clinic B1 already visited. A weird, old guy recognizes him - but last time B1 was there, he apparently wasn’t alone. The doctor admits B1 is trying to fix his dissociative disorder, too, but that’s all the information he’s willing to share, and the visit... En lire plus
Eiji keeps investigating his predicament, but his focus starts to shift towards Kyoka and her background. It turns out that there's a lot she hasn't told him about. I liked this volume a lot. It doesn't have that much action, it's more of a deep-dive into Kyoka's life. I'm guessing that the creators feel that they already have the readers attention at this point in the series, so they don't need to create suspense every few pages just to keep things dramatic.
