"Dad is the father of four young girls aged between 10 months and 20 years old, each from different mothers. Let's just say everyday life isn't easy. He's also an actor, but his family commitments make his life far from what we read about actors in magazines. Still, he never misses an opportunity to take to the stage, much to his daughters' embarrassment... Nob claims to create what he calls 'family comics', as opposed to 'youth comics'. Much like in Mamette (Delcourt), Dad is a comic which really centres on the family. He himself being a father, you can't help wondering how much of his own experience has played a part in the creation of this enchanting new series."
Being a single dad is a full-time job, as Dad knows only too well! Especially with four headstrong daughters to whom obedience doesn't exactly come naturally... With bookish Pandora, emotional Ondine, mischievous Roxanne and, the latest addition, baby Bella, this unemployed actor has landed himself the role of a lifetime: looking after his family!
Life goes on for this... unusual family! Pandora (the eldest) is busy revising for her exams, teenage Ondine is getting ready for a hot date, young Roxanne is playing video games and baby Bella wants to be fed... and Dad would very much like it if they all just left him in peace! He might be unemployed, but this hapless actor is bringing up his four daughters single-handedly, and there's not a moment's respite!
Dad, unemployed actor and full-time father, is back, and he's going to have to get used to having another woman around the house! He already has his hands full dealing with the totally reasonable demands of his eldest, Pandora, the swarms of boys hovering around teen Ondine, the wall-shaking energy of Roxanne, and all the walks to the park with Baby Bella. Having his ex-wife come to crash on the couch could be the final straw, as Rose, the fabulous actress, is hardly an ideal house guest... One thing's for sure, Dad's going to need a vacation!
