This graphic novel about Elliott Ness’ post-Capone endeavors received the Eisner Award for Comic Book Excellence in 1999. Surprisingly, it stays relevant after all these years, and although I personally don’t rate Bendis as a graphic artist, the black and white art here (and the mix of photos and drawings) is interesting and effective.
